This morning you set off for a drive through the Mekong Delta to the town of Cai Be, well-known for narrow canals, orchards, and coconut farms. Here you will board your private boat for a cruise along the maze of waterways and canals, pass the Cai Be floating market to visit a local candy factory, and stop at the home of Bonsai gardener for having a typical Mekong Delta lunch, including the popular dish 'Elephant ear fish".
After enjoying a delicious lunch, you will continue your exploration of the tributaries and canals of the delta.
In the mid-afternoon, you will be transferred by car toward Can Tho city, the heart of Mekong Delta, for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will take a boat to explore the floating market at Cai Rang, one of the most exciting floating markets in the Mekong Delta.
After that, you will meet your vehicle for a journey to the town of My Tho, where you will visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda. The structure of the pagoda features a mixture of Chinese, Vietnamese and Cambodian architectural styles. Especially, the beautiful structures in the pagoda are two triumphal arches bearing an art of inserting bottle and porcelain fragments which create harmonious pictures illustrating the Buddha’s legend.
After visiting the pagoda, return to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon.
