Day 1 The Hidden Charm of Hue

The journey starts early in the morning with a local boat ride across Tam Giang lagoon. This allows you to enjoy the pristine beauty and romance of Southeast Asia’s largest brackish lagoon system, whilst also glimpsing into the floating lives of people in this watery environment.

Continuing on, you arrive at Con Toc pier, travelers hop on bikes and cycle along peaceful country roads, passing lush rice fields and quaint villages. To provide a deeper insight into the lives of the indigenous people, you will stop en route at Thuy Lap village to observe the way locals create woven bamboo and rattan products. Later on, you will visit  Phuoc Tich ancient village and have lunch at a local house.
After lunch, you will be able to explore this historic settlement, which is famed for its pottery-making and well-preserved ancient temples and houses. Before returning to Hue, you cycle head to Alba hot springs for a soothing soak in the natural hot water pools.

Return to your hotel in Hue in the late afternoon.
