A Trang An- Mai Chau 2 day trip takes you from Trang An Complex with cultural and geographic wonders that have recently been listed as the world heritage site to Mai Chau, a rural district of Hoa Binh Province the Northwest region of Vietnam. Mai Chau attracts many travelers for its beautiful scenery, stilt house, and ethnic minority people.
In the morning, you get picked up for a car journey to Ninh Binh.
Upon arrival at Trang An complex, you will enjoy a leisure boat excursion to visit Trang An where limestone islands surround a peaceful river that passes through a series of caves. As an “eco-tourism” area, the only interruptions here are the sound of birds and the gentle paddle of the oar upon the crystal clear water.
After having lunch at a local restaurant, take a scenic drive to Mai Chau valley with some photo stops en route.
Arrive in Mai Chau valley in the late afternoon, then check in your resort. The remainder of the day is free at your leisure.

After having breakfast, take a guided walking tour or a bicycle ride to watch the peaceful scene of farmers working in fields, locals weaving scarves, and visiting surrounding villages. During the tour, you will still see a lot of Thai women wear their traditional dress as they are masterful weavers producing plenty of traditional-style textiles.
Return to your resort for refreshment before you check out of your room. After that, you will leave Mai Chau to go back to Hanoi in the afternoon.
