You leave Hanoi for Sapa in the morning. The car journey to Sa Pa takes about 6 hours with some scenic photo stops en route.
Upon arrival in Sapa, check in your hotel, then have a short rest before taking an excursion to visit Cat Cat village.
Cat Cat is nestled at the bottom of Muong Hoa Valley, about three kilometers from Sapa town. This village is home of the H’Mong and Dzao ethnic groups who gather together to cultivate rice, corn, weave fabric and create handicrafts.
Return to your hotel in the late afternoon. The remainder of the day is free for your own exploration around the Sa Pa town.
Overnight in Sa Pa.
After having breakfast, take your tour to explore the Mount Fansipan.
Mount Fansipan is the highest peak of Indochina peninsula, is often referred to as “ the roof of Indochina. As the cable car runs from Muong Hoa Valley up to the final station on the mountain, you can enjoy sweeping views of the poetic Sapa town, the gorgeous valleys, and the terraced rice fields without trying to catch your breath. Once you arrived, you will be able to visit the temples and finish the climb by foot, just 600 stairs, or by funicular.
In the afternoon, You will be taken to visit Lao Chai & Ta Van villages.
The beginning of the tour is the moment to admire the panorama view of the valley from the main road. Then you start going down to the valley from the little paths throughout the terraced rice fields and go along the stream of Muong Hoa valley to get to Lao Chai & Ta van villages. It’s time to visit local households to learn about the local culture such as the way they live, traditional houses, techniques of weaving clothes.
Overnight in Sa Pa.
This morning, you can spend your time at Sa Pa market to purchase local souvenir items or simply just take an easy morning to relax and enjoy hotel’s facilities until the check out time at noon.
Leave Sa Pa for Hanoi in the afternoon with a couple of comfort stops en route. Around 18:00, you get back to your hotel in Hanoi. End of the trip.
