Approx: 19.00 NTD's car picks up you at your hotel in Hanoi and transfers to the Hanoi railway station to get on the night train to Lao Cai. Spend your night on the local express train in a deluxe cabin (shared 4 berths/cabin or 2 berths/cabin with air-conditioned)
Arrive in Lao Cai town in early morning, meet our guide and driver and take 1hr car ride uphill to the beautiful town of Sapa. The ride gives you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces.
Upon arrival in Sapa town, have breakfast at a local restaurant, then prepare for a great trek down to the picturesque valley of Muong Hoa. You will walk on small paths and trails to reach Lao Chai and Ta Van Villages to visit the Tay and Dzay tribes, then keep going along the bottom of the Sapa valley.
Return Sapa town at noon to check in your hotel. Take a rest before joining a guided walking tour around the Sapa's downtown to discover the colorful ethnic stores & market.
The rest of the day is free at your leisure.

Free morning at your leisure or take part in a half day tour to the Fancipan Mountain, the highest peak of Indochina peninsula, which is often referred as " the roof of Indochina".
As the cable car runs from Muong Hoa Valley up to the final station on the mountain, you can enjoy sweeping views of the poetic Sapa town, the gorgeous valleys, and the terraced rice fields without trying to catch your breath. Once you arrived, you will be able to visit the temples by foot, just 600 stairs, or by funicular.
At noon, return to Sapa town to check out your hotel, then meet your tour guide and driver for a short transfer to a local restaurant for lunch before taking the afternoon tour to discover more ethnic villages.
In the afternoon, you depart for an excursion downhill to Cat Cat village. You will stop by a waterfall and a hydroelectric station for photo oppotunities. You then trek further to get to Sin Chai village to experience the H'mong ethnic tribe by visiting the local house, interact with local people.etc...
Get in your car and drive back to the Lao Cai railway station for overnight train back to Hanoi.
Around 4:30 AM on the following day, you arrive back to Hanoi in the early morning. Meet your driver for a ride to your hotel.
